DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT DELHI
Upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Delhi, the capital of India, is a fascinating city where centuries-old history blends seamlessly with modern development. As one of the country’s major cultural and political centers, it offers visitors a vibrant introduction to India.
After reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and take some time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to unwind at the hotel or take a short walk around the nearby area to get a first glimpse of the city’s lively atmosphere.
DAY 2: DELHI SIGHTSEEING
Breakfast. Tour New Delhi this morning, designed in 1911 by the British, New Delhi is one of the greenest capitals in the world. Our first visit to the impressive Qutub Minar, Drive past the government buildings and presidential palace along the broad and majestic Rajpath, Diplomatic enclave, etc. Afternoon tour Old Delhi, pass by the Red Fort, a symbol of Mughal power, and enjoy a ‘rickshaw’ (pedicab) ride around Chandni Chowk (old shopping street). Later we visit Raj Ghat; it is a memorial of the great Mahatma Gandhi.
DAY 3: DELHI TO JAIPUR BY ROAD (265 KM)
Breakfast. Morning drive to Jaipur. Jaipur, the rose-pink capital of Rajasthan is bordered on all sides by rugged hills. Evening experience the flavors of Indian cinema at a local movie theatre for a short Bollywood movie.
DAY 4: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING
This morning visit Amber Fort and its palaces. Riding on elegantly caparisoned elephants, we make our way to the fort where we will find lavish courtyards and beautifully decorated halls, and the Chamber of Mirrors. Afternoon tour, visiting the Royal Observatory, the Palace Museum, and the elaborate Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal. Later, explore the exotic ‘bazaars’ of Jaipur. Visit a Hindu temple to witness the ‘AARTI’ ceremony.
DAY 5: JAIPUR TO AGRA EN-ROUTE VISIT ABHANERI AND FATEHPUR SIKRI BY ROAD (250 KM)
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Jaipur, begin your drive toward Agra. The route passes through rural landscapes and traditional villages, providing an opportunity to observe the daily life and culture of the region.
On the way, stop at Abhaneri, a historic village known for the impressive Chand Baori, an ancient stepwell famous for its intricate geometric stairways and remarkable architecture. This centuries-old structure is considered one of the most striking examples of traditional water conservation systems in India.
Continue your journey to Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital established by Akbar in the 16th century. This historic site features magnificent red sandstone buildings, royal courtyards, and notable monuments such as the grand Buland Darwaza and the revered Tomb of Salim Chishti.
After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation or personal activities.
DAY 6: AGRA SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the most admired monuments in the world.
