DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DELHI AIRPORT AND TO HARIDWAR BY ROAD (205 KM)
Upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, you will be greeted by our tour representative. Begin your road journey to Haridwar, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. On reaching Haridwar, complete the hotel check-in formalities.
Haridwar is one of India’s most prominent pilgrimage destinations, where the holy Ganga River first meets the plains. The city attracts countless devotees throughout the year, offering a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
In the evening, embark on a temple visit, starting with the Mansa Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi, an incarnation of Ma Shakti. The temple, situated atop a hill, can be reached either by a cable car or by trekking on foot. Later, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, a soulful ceremony that promises to leave a lasting impression.
DAY 2: HARIDWAR TO PIPALKOTI BY ROAD (245 KM)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and commence your journey to Pipalkoti, passing through some of the region’s most scenic and spiritual spots. Start your journey in Rishikesh, widely celebrated as the global hub of yoga, where a collection of esteemed ashrams and peaceful meditation retreats create an atmosphere of deep spiritual calm. Continue onward to Devprayag, a revered confluence among the Panch Prayags, where the pristine waters of the Alaknanda River and the Bhagirathi River unite to form the sacred Ganges. This spiritually significant meeting point, set against a dramatic Himalayan backdrop, offers a serene and awe-inspiring experience for visitors. Continue to Rudraprayag, the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers, and then Karnaprayag, where the Pindar meets the Alaknanda.
Arrive in Pipalkoti by evening, complete hotel check-in, and unwind. If time and energy allow, take a leisurely stroll to explore the local surroundings.
DAY 3: PIPALKOTI TO GOVINDGHAT TO GHANGARIA (50 KM DRIVE + 15 KM TREK)
On the third day of your journey, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for Govindghat. On the way, make a stop at Joshimath to visit the Adi Shankaracharya Math, one of the four spiritual centers established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, and the Narsingh Mandir, dedicated to Lord Narsingh, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
After exploring Joshimath, continue your drive to Govindghat, where your trek to Ghangaria begins. Upon arrival in Ghangaria, check in to your guest house and relax after the day’s journey.
DAY 4: GHANGARIA TO HEMKUND SAHIB TO GHANGARIA BY TREK
In the morning after breakfast we will begin your trek to holy place Hemkund Sahib. Upon reaching, take a sacred dip in the pristine Hemkund Lake and then proceed for darshan at Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib. Situated at an elevation of 15,000 feet, this revered Sikh Gurudwara attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Nestled amidst stunning high-altitude landscapes, it offers a spiritually uplifting experience against a backdrop of breathtaking natural beauty.
After completing your visit, start the return trek to Ghangaria and unwind at your accommodation for the evening.
DAY 5: GHANGARIA TO RUDRAPRAYAG VIA GOVINDGHAT (14 KM TREK + 133 KM DRIVE)
On the fifth day of your tour, wake up early to begin the trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat. Upon arrival at Govindghat, your vehicle will be ready to take you on the return journey toward Rudraprayag, passing through Joshimath, Chamoli, and Karnaprayag. Along the way, pause at noteworthy spots to experience the region’s rich traditions and admire its captivating natural landscapes, offering a deeper connection to both culture and scenery.
Once you arrive in Rudraprayag, check in at your hotel and prepare for an afternoon of sightseeing. Visit the Rudranath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the ancient Chamunda Devi Temple, devoted to Ma Chamunda, and the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, a Shiva shrine located along the banks of the Alaknanda River.
DAY 6: RUDRAPRAYAG TO RISHIKESH (135 KM)
After breakfast, embark on the road journey to Rishikesh via Srinagar (Garhwal). Along the way, make a stop at Devprayag, where the sacred Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers converge, creating a mesmerizing natural spectacle.
Continue your drive to Rishikesh and complete the hotel check-in. If time and energy allow, take a stroll to explore the surroundings on your own. Widely regarded as a global hub for yoga and inner exploration, Rishikesh is enriched with ancient temples, serene ashrams, and numerous spiritual retreats that attract visitors seeking peace and self-discovery from across the globe. DAY 7: RISHIKESH TO DELHI (234 KM)
On the final day of your journey, enjoy breakfast and then begin the drive back to Delhi. Upon reaching the city, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station to catch your flight or train for your onward journey
