Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Upon your morning arrival at Delhi’s international airport, you’ll receive a warm traditional welcome. Afterward, you’ll be escorted to your vehicle and transferred to your hotel. Once checked in, the rest of the day is free for you to unwind and relax after your journey!

Day 2: Guided Tour of Delhi

Your day begins with an immersive sightseeing tour of Delhi. Start in the lively lanes of Old Delhi, a historic walled city filled with vibrant markets and timeless charm. The legacy of the Mughal era is still evident here, especially around the iconic Red Fort.

Visit the grand Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, built in the 17th century and a stunning example of Mughal architecture.

Continue your journey through New Delhi, passing significant landmarks such as Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament House. These areas reflect the early 20th-century vision of British architect Edwin Lutyens, whose influence defines much of the city’s colonial architecture.

Conclude your tour with visits to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the towering Qutub Minar and the elegant Humayun’s Tomb, both showcasing the brilliance of Persian-inspired Mughal design.

Day 3: Transfer to Agra with by road, Visit Taj Mahal & Agra Fort with ESG

Today, journey south to Agra, a city that reflects the grandeur of the Mughal era. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in and some time to relax.

Later, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases a unique blend of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles. Originally constructed by the Rajputs and later enhanced by Mughal emperors, the fort is built using red sandstone, brick, and fine marble from Makrana. More than just a fort, it is a vast walled city filled with palaces, halls, and courtyards.

In the evening, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunset. This world-famous monument, located along the banks of the Yamuna River, was commissioned by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Renowned for its perfect symmetry and intricate white marble inlay work, the Taj Mahal remains a timeless symbol of love.

End your day exploring Agra’s vibrant local bazaars, where skilled artisans—descendants of those who worked on the Taj Mahal—continue the tradition of exquisite marble craftsmanship.

Day 4: Transfer to Jaipur en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri with ESG

In the morning, depart for Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, popularly known as the “Pink City” for its distinctive architecture.

On the way, stop to explore the historic Fatehpur Sikri, a magnificent yet deserted Mughal city built by Emperor Akbar. This well-preserved complex once served as the empire’s capital for 14 years before being abandoned in 1585 due to water scarcity. Its grand courtyards, palaces, and gateways offer a fascinating glimpse into Mughal-era planning and design.

Continue your journey to Jaipur, a city renowned for its impressive forts, elegant palaces, and beautifully laid-out gardens. As one of India’s earliest planned cities, Jaipur holds a special place in the country’s architectural and cultural heritage, and serves as a gateway to the rich traditions of Rajasthan.

Day 5: Explore Jaipur – Pink City with ESG

After buffet or fixed menu breakfast at Hotel and set out for a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur. Begin with a drive to the historic town of Amer, located just outside the city. Here, you’ll visit the magnificent Amer Fort, once the capital of the Kachhawaha dynasty for over 500 years. This grand hilltop fortress is known for its impressive gateways, courtyards, and intricate design.

Next, return to Jaipur to explore the elegant City Palace, a beautiful fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, still partially home to the royal family.

Continue to the fascinating Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Its precisely engineered instruments can measure time and track celestial movements with remarkable accuracy.

Finally, visit the iconic Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of Winds.” This striking five-story façade, made of pink sandstone, features numerous small windows (jharokhas) that once allowed royal family women to observe daily life and festive processions without being seen from outside.

After a day rich in history and architecture, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Early in the morning, begin your journey back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the international airport in time for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Golden Triangle tour.
