On the banks of the backwaters in Kerala, the Ayurveda paradise Kalari Rasayana offers treatments at the highest level. The Kalari Rasayana is a sister hotel to the Ayurveda Palace Kalari Kovilakom. Ayurveda

The Ayurveda cure is supervised by a competent team of doctors and therapists. The program of the Ayurveda cure is put together individually by the Vaidya (Ayurveda doctor) for each guest. These include Ayurveda massages and treatments, consultations with the doctor, the Ayurveda diet, yoga and meditation, Kalari martial arts and therapeutic yoga in the swimming pool. There are eleven therapy rooms, three consultation rooms and a yoga room on the complex. In the Kalari Rasayana only intensive Ayurveda cures are offered with a minimum stay of 14 days.

Location of Resort

The Kalari Rasayana is located in the small town of Paravur between Varkala and Kovalam Beach in the southern Indian state of Kerala, directly on the backwaters with the coconut palms towering over the water. You can hear the sea rushing, which is only about 3 km away. The nearest airport in Trivandrum is around 60 km away.

Advantages of the resort

The open Ayurveda restaurant offers freshly prepared vegetarian dishes with a wonderful view of the backwaters. On the green area there is a swimming pool, which is mainly used for therapeutic yoga, as well as sun loungers with parasols, in order to relax after the Ayurveda treatments. The yoga room and library on the first floor of the main house offer a wonderful view of the backwaters. Two lounges are ideal for relaxing.

Rooms and Category

There are 22 suites spread over six detached cottages and four houses with four rooms each. All rooms are the same size and have a terrace or balcony with seating and a view of the backwaters. There is also a bedroom with a sitting area, shower / bath / toilet and an outdoor shower. There is one room which is handicapped accessible.
